I started "THE MILKWOOD SPEAKS" 10 years ago as a vehicle to advertise my services as a tax consultant. I was told in no uncertain terms that my tax advise wasn't welcome but the readers enjoyed my jokes and 2 people asked me whether they could advertise in my newsletter. And it just grew from there.

Today the monthly printed Black & White issue has quite a staunch/strong following, with diverse people who either own property in St Francis, have visited St Francis, have been on holiday in St francis or who have heard from family about "The Milkwood Speaks".

Exactly a year ago i started "The Milkwood Daily" as a one page full colour (PDF) electronic newsletter, that gets sent out to readers on my mailing list, every morning at 6 o'clock. It is just as popular, with a concentrated target market.

I love my job, making people feel good about themselves. Put some positive across and a few jokes to start the day.
